my entire life is a love letter to this earth. to this universe. to my emotions. to my body. to god.
to feel so much for myself and others and then feel inevitable sorrow is a true testament of the dual nature of this world. when Sylvia Plath said “I don’t know what it is like to not have deep emotions. Even when I feel nothing, I feel it completely.”
when i sat down to write a love letter to myself, this is the first thing i was proud to write. “you feel so deeply and i’m sorry that the world never understood and made you feel like it’s a flaw”.
it’s a treasure. those with murky waters are unable to see their own depth but pray for their peace and hope that they shall have the clear vision to see through the dirt and welcome crystal glacial waters.
write a love letter to yourself and hold it to your heart so it can sing to your soul.
