do you find yourself incapable of showcasing your creative talents, desires, or interests in fear that they will never be good enough so why even bother? if yes, keep reading:
this is something i’ve struggled with a lot but have come to terms with the more i create content and put myself out there. this one quote always comes to my mind whenever i think about this – “in one year, you’ll wish you had started sooner”.
first and foremost, nothing is perfect. actually maybe our pets and nature and the sky and the ocean. but us humans? nope, def not perfect. it’s why one shoe always fits a little looser and why one eyebrow is shaped a little differently. we’re meant to thrive in our imperfection and learn how to become comfortable in the uncomfortable.
showing up just as you are is an act of courage. it’s powerful simply showing up in all your glory without fearing how others may perceive you. once you tap into this innate level of self confidence, you learn that your imperfections can be perfect too. it’s all subjective after all, isn’t it?
and don’t we curate our skills and hone our abilities through the act of creation and consistency? how can we even reach those self imposed levels of perfect if we’re freezing whenever it’s time to show up?
do your soul the honor and simply show up. have the courage to be yourself. have the strength to accept change. and have the will to consistently evolve with every step you take. you’ll be welcomed with open arms however you are.
